Las Vegas, August 1 — Pakistan’s e-sports sensation Arslan Siddique, famously known as Arslan Ash, has once again made history by clinching his sixth Evolution Championship Series (EVO) title at EVO 2025 in Las Vegas, solidifying his legacy as one of the greatest Tekken players of all time.
Representing Twisted Minds, Arslan triumphed over fellow Pakistani and top-tier competitor Atif Butt in a nail-biting Tekken 8 Grand Final, showcasing the rising dominance of Pakistani players in the global e-sports arena.
Hailing from Lahore, Arslan’s journey began in local gaming arcades at the age of eight. Since then, he has become an international icon, with multiple global victories to his name.
Following his win, Ash shared emotional remarks about facing his close friend and long-time training partner. “We both work so hard; we have to face each other,” he said. “I don’t want to play against him because I know how strong he is. We know each other’s strengths and weaknesses. It’s always 50/50.”
Ash highlighted the challenge of choosing the right character during the final. Initially selecting Anna, he struggled and later switched to Nina—a decision he credited for turning the tide. “I usually hide my gameplay, but this time I couldn’t. I knew Atif was watching. I picked Anna because of him, but when that didn’t work, Nina became my last resort. I know how to handle pressure better with her,” he explained.
Atif Butt, whom Arslan praised as “one of the best players in the world,” pushed Ash to the edge, making the final an unforgettable clash.
Arslan Ash’s victory not only cements his place in e-sports history but also showcases Pakistan’s growing influence on the world gaming stage.
